Good looking bird GRATS! I'm officialy envious! Sounds like you farmed it. How long did it take to drop? Read up more on it - rarest? Impressive. I'm headed to visit some pirates tonight! I've been looking for a good lucrative grind - I can at least sell the cloth if nothing else good drops.
I am way more excited about this than I probably should be, but I've wanted the bird for a long time. I've been doing two runs through the three ships off STV every time I think about it which is about once every month or two for the last couple of years. I only do the run down the beach and then twice through the ships because that's how long it takes until I get bored. I'm not much of a farmer as a rule. I had the rare hat drop almost as soon as I started this process, which was awesome, but not what I wanted. Last night I decided to head down there for the first time in probably 3 months, did my run down the beach and it dropped from a Sea Dog on the first boat. I pretty much hyperventilated. Which in the cold light of day was a silly reaction, but there you have it. Thotbot has some good comments on farming the thing too. :)
