Twilight Dreaming

Although I am a big fan of the books, and not so much of the movie, last night I still dreamed that I flew to somewhere or another in Washington state for some type of Twilight fan reunion.

I dreamed that Kristen Stewart seemed to enjoy her fans (I hear that she doesn't) and announced the start of the event by driving up and down the street a few times in her truck (and as any true Twilight fan would wan would want to know, yes, it was THE truck).

I dreamed that it started raining in a miserably cold and drizzly fashion (my dream thought this was typical for the northwest), so when it appeared that "Edward" would just be driven by the crowd in his silver Volvo pulled by a rig, everyone was disappointed, but not surprised. But then the Volvo paused and pulled away, and standing right in front of me was Robert Pattinson.

If you ask me, it's weird that my dream focused on him, because he does not look like I imagined Edward would look. As far as actors from the movies go, I'm much more of a Taylor Lautner fan. But Jacob did not show up at all in my dream, and there Rob was. He was kind of surveying the crowd and not moving yet, so I said something like "How are you enjoying the weather?" Yeah, in my dream that's the stupid thing I said. Sadly I would have said something equally as stupid in person. He laughed an expressive half laugh of disgust at the miserable weather, and came over to me to sign the paper that I was holding. I compounded my stupidity by saying "You should come to Florida, our weather is a lot nicer."

Apparently I can't be smooth even in my dreams.

He signed my paper, said "Thanks for coming" and walked away. And I looked down at the autograph and realized that I couldn't read his signature and had completely forgotten his real name. I turned to the girl next to me and said "oh no! I've forgotten his name!" Just like she would have in real life, she looked at me like I had lost my mind. And then I woke up.

And it took me a good 5 minutes of being awake to remember it.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing the second movie so I can bash it a little. (Sorry, the first one just left the door open for so much!)

It did. Sadly it did. The second one seems like it will be better though. Fingers crossed!
